Reflections
It is so good to be home and be back with family. I have been reflecting over the whole last week in Cairo and it is very hard to put into words. I know that I have a new perspective of Egypt and what the strongholds are in Egypt. I wrote about the trouble we had getting light in our room. I think that was a great picture God used to show me the darkness in Egypt. There seems to be a spiritual haze that can only be penetrated by the Word of God and the Light that flows through the Church of Jesus Christ. It seems to me that God many times reveals himself to Egypt them to Israel. Old Testament Joseph was hidden in a prison in Egypt till the time when God revealed him to the Pharoah who God used to provide bread for Egypt and the Israelites, his own brothers. New Testament Joseph hid Jesus, who became the bread of the world in Egypt to keep him from being killed by a bad pharoah.xI believe Egypt, esp. Cairo is strategic to what God is doing in these end times and it was such an honor to have a very small part in this. We went to form relationships with 2 churches and ended up forming bonds with 4. God went far beyond our hopes and dreams. For me personally, I loved the way they prized family, relationships and hospitality. I felt like I received much more from them than I gave to them. I would encourage anyone who has the desire to go to do just that: go. You will not be disappointed. Love to all the members of our team. It was an honor to serve with you. Ginny
